I found a short parable online, on a social media site. So i decided to take a look at the possible lessons and teachings from this \u2013 \u201cHe Was Looking for the Sun<\/em><\/strong>\u201c. Enjoy the thoughts, Ronald.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Parable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHe was looking for the Sun, but the sun was already shining. \u201cWhere is the Sun?\u201d
He was shouting now, fists clenched and eyes fixed on the window. The blinds were wide open. The morning sun streamed in.
Staff pointed outside. They reassured. They redirected. Nothing worked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until his daughter walked in, opened her handbag, and handed him a folded newspaper. \u201cHere\u2019s your Sun, Dad.\u201d Not the sun in the sky. The newspaper.
It had been called the Herald Sun for decades. But to him, it would always be The Sun, the one he read every morning with toast and tea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His behaviour wasn\u2019t confusion. It was routine, misheard. Maybe he is not resisting care. Maybe we just haven\u2019t yet understood the care he needs.
